WHAT WE DO
$49964.65 CND was used for the complete reconstruction of a school in Lisakhani, Ramechhap, Nepal. The original school was completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquakes forcing lessons to take place outside.
$2928.75 CND land preparation and school site construction. Cost includes machine time, engineering, materials and labour.
$2860 CND was used to build a water supply system near the school site in Lisakhani. We also hosted a commencement ceremony for the project which is tradition in Nepal.
$570 CND was the cost of registering 'Mountains of Relief Social Corporation Nepal' as an NGO. This cost includes all administrative costs as well as setting up a bank account.
$1000 CND was spent clearing rubble and debris in Langtang Valley.
$14,000 CND was given directly to affected families and individuals to provide victims of the earthquake with the essentials for survival.
$1000 CND was used to repair Shree Niranjana Higher Secondary School in Dhading, specifically to rebuild their science lab.
This project is still on going.
Financial aid of $1,400 CND was given directly to this group of 22 new mothers to help make this important time easier for them.
$300 CND was donated to an elderly woman in Kushadevi to construct a temporary shelter. Her home was destroyed by the earthquakes.
