LISAKHANI SCHOOL BUILD

$49964.65  CND was used  for the complete reconstruction of a school in Lisakhani, Ramechhap, Nepal. The original school was completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquakes forcing lessons to take place outside.

Khatri Tole Water Supply

In October 2019 we started working with the Khatri Tole village development committee to identify a location for a desperately needed community water well. Unfortunately this project had to be halted after the contractor hit a massive impenetrable rock. 

REGISTERING OUR NGO

Mountains of Relief is incorporated as both an NGO in Nepal and a Society in Alberta.  up a bank account.

GOAL: COMPLETED

DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

$14,000 CND was given directly to affected families and individuals to provide victims of the earthquake with the essentials for survival. We have met our initial goal, however this project is still on going and additional donations are greatly appreciated.

FINANCIAL AID TO NEW MOTHERS

Financial aid of $1,400 CND was given directly to this group of 22 new mothers to help make this important time easier for them. We have met our initial goal, however this project is still on going and additional donations are greatly appreciated.

FUNDED TEMPORARY SHELTER

$300 CND was donated to an elderly woman in Kushadevi to construct a temporary shelter. Her home was destroyed by the earthquakes. We have met our initial goal, however this project is still on going and additional donations are greatly appreciated.

DHADING SCHOOL REPAIR

$1000 CND was used to repair Shree Niranjana Higher Secondary School in Dhading, specifically to rebuild their science lab. We have met our initial goal, however this project is still on going and additional donations are greatly appreciated.
